Johnny Ryan is well known for his comics for adults, although he also makes stuff for Nickelodeon Magazine, a part of his work that can be enjoyed by kids too. This comics has been published in Spain in the book “Johnny Ryan para niños”.

He is now one of the creators of “Pig, Goat, Banana, Cricket”, one of the craziest animated tv series, so we asked him a few questions about this and other relevant stuff.

Little Monster: How would you explain what “Pig, Goat, Banana, Cricket” is about?

Johnny Ryan: It's about four friends that live in a treehouse and have wild adventures.

Little Monster: What’s harder, to make laugh to kids or adults?

Johnny Ryan: TV executives

Little Monster: What’s your all time favorite candy?

Johnny Ryan: Kit Kat

Little Monster: Have you ever completed a trading cards collection?

Johnny Ryan: When I was just starting out, making my own comics, I made a pack of handmade Angry Youth Comix cards. Not sure what happened to them.

Little Monster: Do you share any interests with your daughter? Any comic-book or TV show?

Johnny Ryan: I've been teaching her to like The Simpsons.

Johnny Ryan: I was the Elephant Man in 7th grade.

Little Monster: Do you believe in Bigfoot?

Johnny Ryan: No.

Little Monster: Have you ever felt scammed by a toy or advertisement when you were a kid?

Johnny Ryan: Probably. I think I tried to order some gags out of a comic book and they never showed up.

Little Monster: Tell me something crazy that you used to think when you were a kid.

Johnny Ryan: I thought the toilet was gonna s*ck me in.

Little Monster: Has Peter Bagge done something for you lately?

Johnny Ryan: No he hasn't that lazy sack of sh*t.
