"Elise is an aficionado of art, literature and fantasy films. She's got a weakness for the Victorian era and she likes to spend her time writing and drawing while she listens to goth rock."

Each one of our 6 girls have made a playlist with their favorite music. Check out the PAPER DOLLS soundtrack on our spotify account.

A few days ago Kurt Baker played a special show for kids as part of the Ghost Highway Recordings 10th anniversary celebration. The show was packed and we had a lot of fun.

We interviewed Kurt and chatted a little about kids, rock ‘n roll and gummy bears!

Kepi Ghoulie is the author of some of our favorite monster punk rock songs, first with his band Groovie Ghoulies and now as a solo act. He also made the super fun children’s record “Kepi for kids” and published an art book featuring his ghoulish paintings. His new album is called Lost and Lovin’ and is out via his own Kepiland records. We chatted a little with him and had some fun in the dark.

Kaz is one of the minds behind “SpongeBob SquarePants” and the creator of the classic comic strip “Underworld”. He’s also a funny guy with a lot of crazy stories to tell. And he was generous enough to share a few of them with us. Enjoy.

We were lucky enough to have HOMBRE LOBO INTERNACIONAL playing at the LITTLE MONSTER books release party. Since then, his LP “Early recordings” hasn’t stopped spinning on our record player. We could do nothing but talk with him to know how is a wolfman’s life on the road.

MONSTERS is an old school trading cards collection that brings back the spirit of trading cards collections from the 80s, with a vintage style and classic artwork. We talked with artist Pablo “Obelix Hell Art” about his work on these cards and other monstrous stuff.

PUNK ROCK FOR KIDS: FUN FUN RECORDS

Fun Fun Records is a children’s music label where musicians from bands like The Bouncing Souls, Groovie Ghoulies, The Aggrolites or Screeching Weasel are putting out great music for kids. The label is run by Mike Park, a punk rock veteran, owner of Asian Man Records, who has played in many bands along the years and now has his own project of music for kids. We asked him a few questions about this and other fun fun stuff.

New spotify playlist of rock for kids and adults!

We made a summer playlist to listen with an ice cream in one hand and the float in the other. Surf, beaches, sharks, sun and a lot of rock ‘n roll for this hot and fun season. Enjoy it!

Jorge Monlongo is one of the best cartoonists in Spain. He has been nominated for an Eisner and “Autor Revelación” at the Barcelona Comic Con 2016. He combines personal projects like “No me pegues que llevo gafas” with comics for kids like Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Hello Kitty, Cow and Chicken and Mameshibas. He also illustrates children’s books and paints little girls with swords, so we had a lot to talk about.

Our collection of rock for kids wouldn’t be complete without this record from 2006 published by Go-Kart Records. In Brats on the beat: Ramones for kids the Ramones classics have been “kidified” by the Gabba Gabba Hey Singers. Each song features kids singing all the choruses and background parts.

Scooby-Doo and Kiss may seem a weird combination, but when you watch Rock and Roll Mystery you can see that makes perfect sense.

The movie starts with Scooby, Shaggy and the gang traveling to the KISS WORLD amusement park to see the band at their big Halloween concert. But the Mystery Inc. gang has to team up with KISS to fight the Crimson Witch, who has returned to summon The Destroyer from the alternate dimension of Kissteria to destroy the earth.

Johnny Ryan is well known for his comics for adults, although he also makes stuff for Nickelodeon Magazine, a part of his work that can be enjoyed by kids too. This comics has been published in Spain in the book “Johnny Ryan para niños”.

He is now one of the creators of “Pig, Goat, Banana, Cricket”, one of the craziest animated tv series, so we asked him a few questions about this and other relevant stuff.
